Blk Dinner at Secret Gardens
We had our blk dinner at Secret Gardens. Its a very romantic place I would say..the lights are very dim..the ambience is really good..hee shall bring Dear Dear there next time. But I doubt I know how to get there myself...hmmm.
Anyway, 8 pple (Sheila, Shengyang, Shin Tze, Yixin, Jo, Conrad, Me and William) turned up for the gathering..(although William turned up real late cos of work commitments and all of us have already finished our dinner before he came...but I was really happy that he could come admist his busy schedule.) Ming Ee was the one who initiated and organised the outing but couldn't make it herself cos she got a last-minute meeting for her YEP..she is going to Yunnan soon to do voluntary work...I wished her all the best. =)
Let me see. What about the others? Dear couldn't come cos he is catching a flight to Europe. Fei Fei and Lu Fei have to attend their sister-in-law's birthday party. Voltaire is having IA and is working OT. Bernard cannot make it and Guang Rong says he is busy...I really hope that more pple will be able to turn up for our next blk outing.
Hee..Shin Tze is a family man now. He just ordered a New York Cheesecake cos his wife already cooked dinner for him so he has to go home soon. Hee..so we were asking him when he will be having his wedding dinner...Haha..then he says not so soon la...maybe at the end of the year but nothing is planned yet. Haha. Then think someone commented that he wants to make sure all of his friends are all earning a stable income first before he holds his wedding dinner. Haha. Like that then can get better rates for his Ang Baos. Haha. Just joking.
Ha. Then we started talking about where is he going to hold his wedding dinner and heard that William is helping to plan it too. I was thinking aiyoh William so busy, he still got time ah? Haha..anyway, we joked about the dishes that he will have for his wedding.
First dish: Ba Zhang (Meat Dumplings)
Second dish: Nuoya Zhang
Third dish: Kee Zhang
Fourth dish: Kaya Zhang (ok there is some debate over this...cos is there something called a Kaya Zhang?) Haha. Anyway, who wants to guess what will be the last dish????
Haha. The last dish is all the guests will give Shin Tze "Liang Ba Zhang!" Haha. Two tight slaps. Haha. William was the one who said that. It was so funny that I laughed and laughed non-stop. And I added that he will provide free flow of chinese tea. So its not bad la. U eat till you are very full and you get free flow of drink somemore. Haha.
William is now a busy man working at GE. He is an MA there and he will be going to Japan for a six months training program. So cool, rite? I wonder when will I ever have this kind of opportunity..hmmm..and I am very happy to hear that he is doing very well and he is enjoying what he is doing also. That is very important I would say. Enjoying what you are doing and not working just for the sake of working lor. I hope I have made my first career choice a right one. =)
For the rest, Conrad is busy working too..always so busy..just like Guang Rong. Both of them are doing some biz in the same company. Haha. And Jo was pressurised to go find a gf in uni...haha.
After the dinner at Secret Gardens, we proceeded to Swensen's to have dessert. Oh no. Getting fat lor. Eat and eat. I just had a cheesecake at Secret Gardens. Now go Swensen to have ice-cream. Clara came over and joined us. She is also an MA at UBS. William and her make a good power couple. Both MAs lor. Really happy for the two of them. Hee. Maybe not long can hear wedding bells from them liao. Think they will earn enough to hold a wedding soon ba. =)
At Swensen's, onli left SY and Sheila, William and Clara. Cos all the others left liao. And me and Yixin. Haha. Both couple couple..haha so I suggested to Yixin that he can be my surrogate bf for 10 days before Dear comes back from Europe. Haha. Yixin says I will be his substitute gf lor. Haha. So funny. Yixin is just my kor...haha I cannot imagine he will be my bf anytime. Haha..hard to imagine. I am very happy w my Dear liao. No one can replace him in my heart. Hee. Yixin says he scared later Dear comes back and beat him up. Hee..Dear, u will do that meh? We have trust in each other rite...hee.
Dear sent me an sms before the plane took off...so sweet...I am going to have a very good nite sleep. Cya back in 10 days time, dear! Enjoy yourself and have fun!
