working life
Long time since i last updated..Life have definitely been more hectic with work starting to pile up and expectations increasing...Honeymoon period is almost over...and thus have to continue to work hard and smart to produce quality pieces of work...
So far so good i believe ...colleagues have been extremely nice...being friendly and always willing to help..bosses have been nice too ..being very patient and always willing to listen to suggestions...and we can even chit chat together and joke together...but jokes aside..every one is quite serious about work..which is what i like....there is always a time for jokes and play...and a time for work...
Working time have been rather ok....can leave office around 7-8...and sometimes earlier and occasionally later...record timing so far is 1020 p.m...haa...but it was becoz of a last minute cock up...and not becoz i cant finish my work...haa..but i did manage to finish another paper in the meantime..so hopefully big boss will not shoot down my paper like she did to my fren's one...but the sort of feeling when i'm staying in office is quite different...as compared to my internship days...i was rather frustrated during my internship days becoz the rest of the interns are not staying back..and i'm sorta the onli one..and the thing is i'm quite sure i'm not getting the sort of recognition that i'm supposed to get for the quality of work that i'm producing.as confirmed later when the results are out..but here...at least i am getting..plus i'm doing something more meaningful...so i dun realli mind staying back...haa..and of course i'm getting paid much better...
Life have been quite healthy...back to my mild exercise regime ...with me and my colleagues going for a 3hr badminton session...never knew it could be so disrupting the next day..as i have difficulty even sitting down on the chair lor..with my buttocks, legs, arms all hurting and aching...but it was fun...too bad the calories that was burnt was later refilled back by my late dinner....ROTI prata near mustafa...so much for trying to slim down....
anyway enjoying life now...office work is much nicer after i move vampire scholar to office with me....he looks so cute that i cant resist smiling every time i look at him....
oh ya..went for some jill lowe image course....to learn how to match my clothes to my face...and how to talk and walk...haaa...she is quite impressive...looking like ard 30 when she's already 43...and able to drop straight into her roles of between 18-40...when she's play acting....i'm an autumn person...so supposed to be wear warm colors...but i can be a winter person too..although she says i look better in autumn as compared to winter...but ya...it was quite interesting...especially the talking part...later when i tried to employ her method of talking to dear dear over the telephone...i think she was laughing her whole way back home until her fellow passengers must have tot she's a xiao zha bor...
weekends are nice too ...spending normally more time with my family...and my bro shop....haa..accounts are still as messy and there's GST submission to be done...ya..so rushing out the reports...constant firefighting..wonder when can there be a situation in which simple book keeping will suffice...but hard with the accounts of our main supplier being super messy also...but the situation should improve in a while as we slowly move our stock to other suppliers...and their accounts should be much more stable...
MY bro going overseas next thurs..yay..tat means i get the car for 4 Days till sunday ....when he will come back...thinking of taking some photos in my convo gown...but hmm...oh maybe i should bring gian out ..since i got the car...going to sentosa might be a good idea...haa....gian would be so happy over it...gian has been rather wierd lately as exclaimed by dear....he has been asking funny questions like "mummy what time do u need to wake up tmr", "mummy my head is pain...do u have medicine..especially those that will make me drowsy", "mummy u noe hor..when walking down the hougang there...to reach kembangan should i walk straight or turn left or right ?"
Dear dear is pretty worried that gian has been sneaking out at night to walk over my house...to pei me as i have told him i miss him a lot....but she's getting paranoid...No...giant did not kick her on the head with his beckham leg to make her conk out...and no ..giant did not feed her with drowsy medicine to make her wake up at 730...and no...giant did not sneak out to my house to play hide and seek with piglet....ya lor....think dear has been becoming paranoid over such things until she actually hug giant so tightly that he can hardly breathe.....relax..giant is so guai..dun worry k...
