HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR DEAR
Belated post from me....dear dear birthday just passed...!
Happy bday to ya k.....we actually pre-celebrated the occasion due to my nature of work. So hard to predict what time i knock off nowadays, so we celebrated it on the saturday before her bday. heh...so early morning i went over to dear house to pass her her present...coz i didnt want her to lug her present ard the whole day....
Bought her a black and slim Nikon S1 camera which is exactly a pair of what i have just bought for myself..now we have couple cameras...haa...seriously i'm quite satisfied with the camera..it looks good (comments from frens), optical zoom of 3x, 5 megapixel and very user friendly. Just happened that both of us are camera-idiots so dunno how to set the settings. So most of the photos turn out to be blurred..but finally got the issue resolved on her bday day..
anyway, we went to marina to watch movie...we had a simple lunch at Macdonalds, the one newly opened at Marina square..the service was soooo good..everyone was smiling and being so polite. SO it was quite a good experience..we shopped ard abit before going for our movie, the family stone. NOt a very nice show..was quite dumb and not much impact but think we finished all the blockbusters already so anyhow choose this. Following which we went to a Jap restaurant , forgot the name..but it was quite nice. THe food was ok and the ambience was nice..unlike the crowded sakae sort of restaurant...we have a small corner all to ourselves..hee...
after dinner, we went for dessert at Max brenner choco bar...and had a choco fondun...yummy....the chocolate is soooo nice...
we had a short walk beside singapore river before embarking on our usual cycle of going back to my house, hug giant and i send her home...haaa!
on dear's bday itself, we met ard 7.45p.m becoz we were held up by work. we wanted to have sakae...but the wait was sooo long that we gave up..decided to go home and call pizza hut....at least we could spend some time together and watch the 9 p,m show..haaa.....the pizza was quite nice...we ordered 2 regular..chicken curry and hawaiian...delicious....bloated too after the feast...
On saturday, i was delayed by assignments....so in the end , we cancelled our intended trip to sentosa to go to sengkang and chinatown instead...had lunch at swenson....dear treated me...haa..coz she lost a bet...i tot i heard the waitress telling us that the soup of the day was vegetable...while dear insisted that it's cream of mushroom...so we had this bet....in the end i was correct...three cheers to my improving memory...=) then we shopped ard and go to chinatown..it was quite happening..but no longer feel the atmosphere..maybe grow up liao..no longer look forward to new year where we get hongbao....hafen get my new year clothes ...yet...so will have to go shopping...hee...
next week will be meeting dear on wed again...for my company run of Memoirs of a geisha...first time dear joining me for a company movie screen...haa..excited ??
