Went to Dear's Bro's shop to meet Dear. We have been meeting everyday ever since Dear came back from his Europe trip..Rot around at the shop..reading my second Harry Potter book..the Chamber of Secrets..borrowed the whole set from Mingyi..hopefully I can finish reading all of them before she is back but I doubt so...hee will try my best.

After that, we had dinner at Yoshinoya at Bugis Junction. I think the food is not bad considering that its a fast food outlet. Then we went walking around..went to Watson to get my lip balm first cos my lips are getting super dry..dunno why..maybe cos of the weather. Then, went to get my contact lens solution. Spent some time at the optical shop cos Dear wanted to get a new pair of spectacles. We had quite a bit of fun trying on the different spectacles and laughing at how we look.

There was also this store that sells cards but their birthday cards were very special. Its not just the normal card where they will play Happy Birthday songs..this whole range of cards have like buttons or strings and you could actually press the buttons or the strings and compose your own songs...so cool! Think it will make a nice birthday card. But its kinda ex for a card..think it costs abt 14.50.

Its abt time to go home so we make our way back to Sim Lim Tower cos Dear's car is parked there. Walked up the steep spiral carpark to reach the car. Super tiring! Dear at first asked me to wait at the pavement for him one but I told him I will pei him go get the car..haha..didn't know that it can be so tiring..haha.

It was a fun ride home..talked non-stop..even when we reached my place, we just stayed in the car and continued talking...then finally we parted...Will see you again Dear!

Happy Piggyingz (Part II)

ok..back to where I had left off cos my mum was nagging me to sleep..

My dear Piglet and Eeyore were so lucky cos Dear actually bought them along for the trip..and on top of this, they both got a pressie too...a long tube of smarties that have their miniature on top of it..that can move when u push it.

Our always sleepy Piggy didn't go for the trip cos he will rather spend the time sleeping so no point bringing him. Might as well stay in Singapore to sleep. And since he didn't pei me that much while Dear is in Europe, he onli has a small little Kinder Hippo Chocolates. Haha. Good enough for him. To him, all it matters is sleep..so just let him sleep and he will be very happy.

Our BHH got a tee shirt that feature a Snoopy pushing the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The mini-tee fits BHH just nicely. Very cute too! Will let him put it on for a few more days before I changed to his convo gown for him. Both the twin hippos got lotsa nice hippo chocolates too!

And of course, not forgetting the most impt pressie..hee my pressie of course..its this super cute container that has a lot of cow prints on it..and attached to it is a small cow keychain...and inside are lots of chocolates..hard to describe how nice the container is...shall take a picture and post it up online...(my phone doesn't come with the usb cable to transfer the photos in my phone to the computer..so think it will take some time before I can post the photos up liao..haiz).

Hee..but the most precious pressie to me is to see my Dear Dear back safely in Singapore...love u Dear Dear. I loved the postcard that you wrote to me in Italy too! Very sweet of you. Hee.

Hmmm...so who is this chio bu that my bf went out with? hmmm...must be so chio rite...eat lunch with her, watch movie and sent her home somemore..

And still dare to ming bu zhang dang to write in our blog...hmmm...got chance must go see how she look like..if she very chio, then ok la..forgive him..

Anyway, since I couldnt find Dear at TM, so I went out with this super Shuai ge who is waiting for his gf but dunno why, he suddenly decided to go out with me lor..haha must be I too pretty liao..haha..

So, we had lunch at Cafe Cartel, then we went to watch Mr and Mrs. Smith, then later he sent me home too. So sweet of him hor. I am falling deeply in love with this guy....hope to see him soon!

P.S.: He got this super cute piglet called Giant at his home. He showed him to me wearing a Beckham Jersey. Super cute!

Happy 27th month

Happy 27th mth !! Dear dear...
so long together liao right....had so much fun today....so happy too..got my new computer this morning...it is so power...muhahaha....then met dear dear ....i was standing at the mrt station reading newspaper waiting for my gf to appear...then suddenly this super chio gal came up to me and said "shuai ge...zhai deng ren ah ?" i took a look and fell so deeply in love with her tat i replied cheekily "mei nu...dang rang shi deng ni lor"....so i decided to dump my gf and go out on a secret date with this chio bu......we sneaked around tampines mall...and first we booked two tixs to watch Mr n Mrs Smith....then we went for lunch at cafe cartel...food was good..and since this chio bu just got herself a job...she gave me a treat....she had pasta with shredded crab meat and scallop n i had salmon fillet...so nice lor.....n oni 9.50 per set lunch completed with soup of the day (dunno wat flavour) n a drink......then we went shopping....think the chio bu will elaborate more on how much time we spent in the g2000 shop trying on the clothes , planning to do reservation..waiting for the call-back etc...hmm...stupid Amex...
next we rushed to watch movie...the show was generally nice and crappy..laughed so much...n we were eating Smarties thru out...quite nice...n i liked the ending too.....oh btw: brad pitt and angelina jolie is like super hot lar...good screen couples..think both guys and gals were drooling thru out..haa...
we sneaked ard a bit more just in case my gf finds out.....then i met my bro to get the car and send the chio bu back....haaaa...

Happy 27th Month. Hee..talking to u on MSN now..keke..updating blog at the same time.

Came to my house and I brought Giant down to meet you. My mum and dad think I am crazy or something..study too much go mad liao..haha..asking me why I am bringing Giant down to meet you. Haha..but since we promised Giant to give him his pressie, then should bring him down and let him see his pressie ma. Haha..to whoever is reading this, I am quite sure I am mentally sound. But I just love soft toys ever since I was a child..even my mum has seen me talking to soft toys before when I am alone with them and at one point of time, she really think I am mad. Haha.

So, Giant got a Real Madrid Jersey for his pressie. Hee..we took a few photos. Shall post it up soon. Super cute! Now he thinks he is Beckham..very handsome and can kick football!

Oh no..mum screaming me to go to bed! Shall continue again tmr!

Lunch with ex-colleagues

Had lunch with Ai-Lanne and Choo Leng this afternoon. Another of their colleague, Wai Mun, came along but I dun think I saw her before during my internship. We went to this restaurant nearby and Ai-Lanne treated me to lunch.

The lunch was not bad..and after that, I also had a scoop of mango gelato! My first gelato! Yummy! Very nice!

Had a good time catching up with them. Told them about my first job. They told me I am young..so I can afford to try out all things! Cos you will never noe until you try...Choo Leng told me, I must learn how to "ren". Its very important! Must "ren", then I will survive, then I can move up. I will remember this advice in my heart! I will "ren" in all circumstances...even if the customers called in and scold me for no reasons..haha..they say I must be prepared to face all these, esp when I am handling pple w loads of money in the bank..haha.

I am prepared to learn. I have my own xin li zhun bei liao. I am fresh. No experience. This will be a good time to learn all I can. My cousin works in UOB before for about 10 yrs..she told me UOB is a good place cos they are very willing to train pple. Yupz I know that..and that was one of the reasons why I wanted to go there so badly.

Really looking forward to the first day of work. Meeting new colleagues and undergoing training and eventually really being independent to start work!

Outing at Tampines Mall

Met up with Mingyi, Sheila and Yixin at Tampines Mall. Sheila and Yixin came from their accenture interview.

Went to Cafe Cartel to have lunch. Cos got lunch promotion..$9.50 nett. We three gals ordered Breaded Crispy Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce and Yixin has Pasta with Half Shell Mussels in Spicy Tomato Sauce. (Shall get the photos from Sheila later.) Stayed there for kinda long..eat and talk a lot..talk about their interviews and stuff...and Mingyi will be going to Yunnan tmr for her YEP. I guess I will miss her and will miss reading her blogs especially...have been a loyal fan of her blog..haha.

After that, went shopping around. Went to G2000 cos got 50% discount. But think when Dear comes back, then we can go shop together..hee..then he can choose his and I can choose mine...need to buy some working clothes...starting work soon ma.

Then, we went into O.A.M.C (just realised that it stands for "Own a Mix Comfort". I got a working skirt. At first, I tot its a black skirt. Onli when I reached home, then realised its dark blue actually. Haha..but good also cos I have a black skirt liao..dun have dark blue yet. Its the onli piece left..cos the skirt comes with a blazer and someone bought the blazer but didn't buy the skirt. Actual price is 49 bucks but got 40% discount, so onli 29.40. Hee seldome can get a skirt that is of the correct waist size and correct length for me..and its so discounted..of course will buy it! haha..dun have to wait liao.

Thirsty. Went Mac to have some drinks. Then, Sheila got a call from Accenture! Woo Hoo! Both she and Yixin got into the second round of accenture interview! So happy for the two of them! Accenture is a good company and I hope that both of them will be able to nail it. I have confidence in both of them! Jiayou!

Piggyingz Misses her Pigaholic SO MUCH!!!!

I miss my Pigaholic. Really miss him. I miss u DEAR... When was the last time I see u? Hmmm...Sunday ba..when u sent me home from Bugis. So, its like 9 days liao..but u will be coming back tmr liao! Hee...but think will onli get to see u on Thursday ba..tmr will be kinda late by the time u are back in Singapore..

I saved all ya smses to me while u are in Europe..hee..from the first one when u told me that the plane is taking off while still in Singapore, (just received SMS from you..hee..transiting at Finland..have to wait for 7 hrs before taking a 13 hrs flight back to Singapore..hee can see u soon liao)..to when you reached Swiss after the long flight and bringing Piglet and Eeyore to the rhinefalls where they enjoyed themselves..to asking me whether UOB called me regarding my application..to asking me abt my new phone..and after that your congratulations to me when I got my job..to the part where u were in Italy on the way to Milan..and on the boat to Vernice..(bought presents for Hippos)..at Florence..(bought present for Giant)..to the last sms that u sent me earlier...hee..oh no...I think you will not want to see ya phone bill this month..hee.

I will be starting work on 20 June tentatively..so it will just be like 6 more days of non-working life together before u start work also...haha I sound kinda sad hor...haha...I am actually very excited over the job..but on the other hand, since I am on shifts, it will be even harder for us to meet up next time...so must treasure watever free time we have now..before both of us get tied down by work committments...both of us must Jiayou oh! haha..must earn enough to feed our Giant ma..haha.

These 3 guys, including Ban Xiong aces their A levels with 4 'A's each plus S papers..wow..now they are doing well too...Ann Leong is now in NUS studying mechanical engineering and Yiwei is in NUS too, studying Chemistry..future engineers and scientist! 

Here comes the future doctor in our class..now in NUS Medical School! Ever so hardworking since I knew him in JC. 

Ban Xiong..he organised this gathering...we just had a super expensive dinner at some Chinese Restaurant..costs 30 bucks per pax..its wat we called High Class Zhi Cha...haha..now at some place chilling out... 

Me and my close friend, Peixuan. She is studying Chemical Engineering at NUS. Super nice gal. Can click with her well!

Ex-Colleagues from Standard Chartered Bank

Received an sms from Serena this morning. She read my email to her and asked whether I will be free to have lunch together today. So, we arranged to meet at 1230 at Raffles City Delifrance.

Reached Raffles City at about 1215. As I was making my way to Delifrance, so coincidence, I saw Joyce (my cousin) and my 10 year old niece Danielle. So coincidence lor..never arrange to meet and we can bump into each other at that exact time and at that exact place. Since it was still early, I accompanied them to buy some cakes and pastries before meeting up with Serena.

Had a nice chat with Serena over lunch. She is now a permanent staff at SCB. Busy as always. But she told me she is the least busy as compared to the others. I told her I will be going to UOB to work. She told me its good and told me to make use of this opportunity to learn as much as I can at UOB. She says by the end of the 2 years, I should have some market value if I would to job hop.

After lunch, I walked with her back to Plaza by the Park. She asked me whether I would like to go up to give my other ex-colleagues a surprise..haha..but I was not dressed properly but she says it was ok..hee..so off I went. I think I really look weird in the office. Everyone were dressed smartly. I was the onli one in tank top and jeans and PINK sneakers..and carrrying my sling bag...haha...I told my colleague that I was really worried that I will get chased out by the security for being improperly dressed haha.

So first, I met up with Choo Leng. She is no longer in Finance Dept. She has moved to another depts. She is really busy as she has just moved over and the learning curve is really steep. Heard from Serena that she works till 9 plus 10 everyday and its normal...wow...career woman...have to balance work and family committments.

Then, I asked Choo Leng to bring me over to the other depts. Haha..cos I dun wanna walk alone to find the others..later really get chased out..haha. Then saw Yong Hoong. Think she got promoted to dept manager liao ba..she got her own office now. She asked me whether I got go on holiday..then I told her I just came back from Taiwan..haha then she told me she just came back from Taiwan too..3 days onli..haha business trip..and she will be flying off to another country for business trip too! The second career woman! Haha..there are lotsa of them at SCB. Really admired them.

Next, Ai Lanne popped over..hee I worked the most with her during my internship..Still remembered that I went back on Saturday to work with her once. Her little boy boy already 2 years old liao. She is still working in the same dept but no longer doing cost..doing other stuff. And busy as always. Cos this is the busy period...closing...so everyone is so busy..so I decided not to stay long and disturb them further heh. Will be meeting up with Choo Leng and Ai Lanne on Wednesday for lunch. Yong Hoong and Selina may not be able to make it as they are tied up with work.

Yupz..Selina is next..she is the personal assistant to the big bosses. So, have to check the big bosses schedule before she will noe whether she can make it for lunch on Wed. Lily is on holiday and Woei Shiuan has just left for Business trip in Hong Kong. My supervisor, Yu Jin, has moved to the SCB UK Branch.

So basically, everyone is still there and doing fine. Busy as ants. Nothing special. They have been working this hard since I was an intern there. I guess there will be more catching up on Wed...will tell them more about my first job and everything and get some precious advice from them ba. =)
