Third Day....

Woke up at 930 a.m. This is the day that I said I was going to have my photo taken. So Dear Dear went to the free access lab to study first. Around 11 a.m., I left my hall and off to JP to take my photo. Sianz. Dress up and travel all the way just to take photo. Reached around 1130 and took my photo.

Haha. Asked the gal whether I could take my photo sideways and not straight so that my face will not look so round and fat. Then she asked me which side? Left or right? Haha. Seriously, I dun even noe which side of me look nicer. So I told her I dunno leh. She is very nice and says nevermind, we shall try both sides. So in the end I took a total of 4 shots. In the end, we decided on the one with my left part of the face facing the camera. Think its ok. Waited for 15 mins for photo to be developed. When I went back to collect it, saw a promotion that says, top up $1 more to get a floppy disk. Thinking why not, just in case, next time I run out of photos and there is no time to take again, I could use this photo again. BUT I waited for so long to get my floppy disk. Then someone I think its the manager told me that there is something wrong with the computer and they could not get it done for me. So, I got a receipt from them and I will go and get it next Tuesday.

Went to the foodcourt and got lunch for Dear and me. Went back hall to change and went back access lab to deliver food to Dear Dear. Poor Dear Dear, seems like the whole world has finished exams except his group. But must jiayou k, Dear Dear. Its your last exams liao! All the best! Me and the babies will be supporting you all the way. =)

Dear Dear had his second paper today. I wanted to wake up before his paper to wish him good luck one but me as a PIG, overslept. By the time I woke up, its already 945 and Dear Dear is already in the examination hall. Sorri Dear. =(

So in the morning, decided to upload the photos that we took on the day after my papers at Fish & Co. Then was talking to Wendy and we decided to go to International Plaza next Tuesday to send our resume to those job agencies. That reminds me I need to go zap all my certs. Thats easy. But I need to get a formal photo of myself. Dun have any now. So must go and take. The thought of dressing up just to go take a photo at JP puts me off. But I have to do it sooner or later so decided to do it. Wanted to go to JP to take it tonite one but I went to have a four hours nap and by the time I woke up, it was quite late liao so decided to take it tmr morning lor. Hopefully can take a nice one. Haha.

Went to extension to have KFC with Dear Dear. Both of us have a craving for KFC haha. I had a mushroom shrooms meal and Dear Dear had a curry crunch meal but the curry crunch is not available so he had crispy chickens. Then we changed one whipped potato to cheese fries. Tastes super good. Then went to shop at Prime. Bought 2 chilli crab cup noodles, yakult and M&Ms. Then went to our favourite bread shop and got my favourite mini doughnuts, (I have finished them liao..all by MYSELF!), and two breads for tmr's breakfast.

The weather is really super hot. Came back sweating like mad. Went to wash my clothes and went over to Weishan's room and took photos with her and Jin Ling. Its Weishan's last day in hall. Me moving out soon too. In about a week's time. Came back at around 9 plus then just watched tv and chatted on MSN non-stop. Watched Survivor, the only Survivor, Stephanie, from Ulong got voted off, got outnumbered by the people from Kuror. Very sad. Cos I think Stephanie is really very good. But this game is all about survivor of the fittest and I think the others see Stephanie as a real threat to them.

Feeling hungry again. Think I have started a very bad habit of eating supper everyday. Always get hungry at this time. This is bad. Shall kick this habit when I get back home and really start exercising.

2nd paper done

After such a long wait...11 full days....my second paper is finally over and over..auditing sux...though i love the subject and probably the nature of the work...11 days of studying for this can die....it's so bad that i spend 3 days on intensive CM....which means my books are layed out in front of me.....but i simply click on and on on CM...i even went home on weekends..with just two sheets of notes...after spending 1/2 an hour on reading it....i refused to do further work over the weekend...shuang..they should try adjusting the stupid timetable Next time round...which doesnt concern me at all....starting on almost the first day and ending on the last day is dumb...real dumb...especially when i onli haf 3 papers....and i hate spaced out exams..while people are mugging away and making full use of the 11 days...i'm wasting my life away....they should just give us 2 days to study for each exams and finish in the first week....then i can enjoy..and maybe even go bangkok and be back before the rest of the cohort is done with studying....looking forward to my taiwan trip..muhaha.a....but still 5 more days to go....long wait till the final exams is over........a bigger headache awaits me at the end of the exams.....the MESSY company accounts..hafen seen it in days.....hope that it doesnt get so messy that i cant troubleshoot..anyway dun think any regulatory body will care abt my company though...small company with no profit and making losses..no tax, no shareholder...why bother...haaa....
anyway had a wonderful time watching SAHARA on wednesday after dear's exams...although i have sucky timetable...cant deprive her of her chance to enjoy her after exams mood right...wonderful show..nice plot, lots of action and laughter....and of course penelope cruz with her boobs spilling out of her top in every single scene....aahaha...and of course we had great food at fish and co....but the two photos of me is realli ugly though...results of not sleeping well the previous nite...haaa...
okie..shall continue with my essay writing another day...muhahaa...time for CM....

My First Day of Freedom

Today is my first day of freedom. Decided to write down what I did everyday after my exams as far as possible and see whether I have been making use of my free time.

As Dear Dear still have two more papers to go, we woke up early and head to Lee Wee Nam library to study. As usual, I bought the $2 Mac Breakfast and changed the drink to Milo. Mac's Milo really very nice. Very chocolaty. First thing I did at the library, flipped to the Classified section and see whether they are any jobs for me. Conclusion, no suitable jobs. So shall read all the things that I wanted to read during exams but didn't have much chance to - My Her World Magazine, my New Paper, Newsapapers..u name it. During exams, have to restrict myself from reading too much cos I will just spend the whole day reading.

Around 1030, I decided to call Ms Zanda from UOB. She is the one who had a phone interview with me. (not sure whether this is the correct spelling cos I felt too paiseh to ask "May I noe how to spell your name?"), so I presume this is how it is spelled, quite a special name hor. The telephone goes, "Zanda here. Leave a message." So, left my message.

A few hours passed, still no call from her. Dear Dear told me to call her back. Decided to do just that. Yay! She picked up. "Hi! Is that Ms Zanda. This is Ying Ying here." And she goes, "You are Ying Ying from Oriental?" Oh no. She has forgotten about me. Then I started telling her who I am. "Oh Ying Ying from NTU. I remembered speaking to you but I have changed department. Give me your contacts and I will get my colleagues to call you back." Ok...I think that is the reason why I did not receive any calls from them cos Zanda has changed departments and I suspect my application is hiding somewhere in a huge stack of documents. Now just have to pray hard that she will tell her colleagues to help me track my application. It is taking way too long. If they are not going to schedule an interview for me, I better jollywell go find other jobs. 5 months and 30 days to being labelled as "Chronic Unemployed."

Left the library at 430 cos Dear Dear need to go back hall to tack his books and he didn't bring any tacks to the library. Reached back hall, felt tired so took a nap. Got woken up by the loud thunder sound. So could not sleep and so went to have an early dinner.

Time to start packing my room. There are a lot of things in my room but actually not much to pack also cos I decided to throw or recycle all my lecture notes and tutorials cos I dun want to bring them home. Its so heavy and I think I will not look at them again anyway. So I started putting aside all the things that I wanted to throw away. My day ended when I finished clearing my top cupboard. Shall continue with my packing tmr ba.

Long entry. Routine life. Nothing special.

I am officially unemployed!

Today is my last day of exams or maybe I should say it was yesterday since its 1.25 a.m. now. Sat for my last paper, BM 341 International Tourism Management. There are 5 questions in all and all of them are based on a case which is the Tsunamis disaster that strike on 26 Dec last year. I think anyone who read the newspapers regarding the incident will be able to sit for the paper even without going for any lessons. That is what I felt cos I dun think I actually applied any framework or concept for this paper. I think if someone has good English and can write well, you will be able to score well. But I dun really care. I just need to make sure I pass all my modules so that I can graduate. Yupz. That is me. I am not those kind of people who will rather die if they could not get their honours. I think I am not a really smart kind of people but I am hardworking although I have been getting lazier as I get older..haha.

Anyway, Dear Dear was very nice to celebrate my last day of exams with me. We went to watch Sahara. We reached there at 130 and bought the 120 show. And it seems that our face has this "Quick issue us the tickets and Quick give us our Nachos and Drink. We are late for our show" look because the GV staff who gave us our Nachos told us "Dun worry. Your show has a 15 minutes of commercial, so you will still be on time." Haha. And this staff is super good. You know why? Cos we order a Nachos Combo and asked for extra cheese. And he actually gave us a lot of cheese. Yum Yum. Normally in other times when we asked for extra cheese, its just like a bit more but this time round it was like "Woah!". Haha. Me and Dear Dear loves to eat Nachos and lots of cheese. Its so satisfying. After finishing the Nachos, we will still use our fingers to finish up the cheese. Haha. It may sound gross but its this kind of licking that is super SHIOK!

Ok..now for the show. It was a good choice of movie. It was a comedy cum adventure show. The female lead Penelope Cruz was super hot and the male lead was a hunk but I dunno his name. Shall go and find out. There are funny characters in this show that makes it funny. Lots of actions too so overall, it was a nice movie. Or maybe we have been deprived of watching movie for so long that any shows may be nice to watch heh. And with the increase in movie prices next month, this may be the last time that we will be watching a $6.50 sh0w. May have to turn to Poh Kim Video Shop now since I am now OFFICIALLY UNEMPLOYED! oh man. Should start looking for a job. Still waiting for the call from UOB for the interview. Why I haven't receive any call yet??? She told me she will call me and schedule an interview for me one. Think I have to take the initiative to call her and asked about it since I am the one looking for a job.

Decided to go to Fish & Co for an early dinner. Craving for the seafood platter that we had last time. Again we were one of the few customers and we enjoyed our meal. Seafood Platter is THE food to eat at Fish & Co. Also took a few photos of us and our Hippos. Shall post them soon. So for dessert, what else but our favourite Macadamia Nut Andersen Ice Cream. Heavenly Good. And all the talk about me losing weight after my exams. Can't seem to start my exercise regime. But I need to start soon cos my Taiwan Trip is coming soon and I want to look good in the photos haha but its onli in two weeks time so how much can I lose?? haha. And I am going to eat and eat when I reached Taiwan.

Shall start my FYP on my Taiwan Trip.....haha.
